Team MONICA JavaCom v0.3 Overview
The 0.3 version of the Team MONICA JavaCom project is an upgrade from the 0.2 version.
It provides JAVA SSH2 funcionality on a more sophisticated level, as the 0.2
version did.
New features:
- General/Architecture
- JAVA layer structure for all three SSH2 layers (transport, user authentication, connection)
- Ability to support different user-authentication and connection implementations
- Both client and server functionality is supported
- Improved (hierarchically structured) configuration possibilities
- Server key check possible
- Transport layer
- Support for all the main SSH2 messages so that both client and server side
can be implemented
- Userauthentication layer
- Password authentication supported on both sides (client/server)
- SSHDSS PublicKey authentication supported on both sides (client/server)
- Connection layer
- Channel mechanism is now accessible with the Writer/Reader mechanism, this
way providing ability of secure transparent data transfer through the SSH2 layer structure
Changes to previous versions:
- Due to merging some of the JavaCom effort to a general class library, some
of the already existing classes have been moved/renamed
- Naming convention changed (omitting the MJC prefix)
- Main package ssh has been renamed into ssh2 so that it reflexts what it is for
- DSS functionality separated into package com.monica.javacom.ssh2.cipher.dss and now
can be generally used
